About the Editor

Christopher D. Green is an Associate Professor of Psychology and Philosophy at York University in Toronto, where he is also the Coordinator of the History and Theory of Psychology graduate programme. He is the author or co-author of many articles and chapters on cognition, perception, historical and theoretical psychology, as well as co-editor (with Marlene Shore and Thomas Teo) The Transformation of 19th-Century Psychology: Influences of Philosophy, Natural Science, and Technology (APA, 2001). The year 2002 should see the publication of Early Psychological Thought: Ancient Accounts of Mind and Soul (co-authored with Philip Groff). In addition to being Founding Editor of the "Classics in the History of Psychology" website, he is also the Founding Editor of the History & Theory of Psychology Eprint Archive (HTP Prints), and the electronic communications officer for the History of Psychology Division (26) of the American Psychological Association, and for Cheiron: The International Society for the History of Behavioral and Social Sciences. He is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association.
